Mint Modern Family Home: A Sims 4 Speed Renovation Challenge

If you love playing The Sims 4 and enjoy renovating houses, you might want to try this fun and creative challenge: Mint Modern Family Home. The goal is to transform a drab and outdated house into a sleek and stylish home for a family of four, using only mint green as the main color scheme. Sounds easy, right Well, there's a catch: you have to do it in under an hour!

This challenge was inspired by the YouTube video "MINT MODERN FAMILY HOME // The Sims 4: Speed Renovation" by Simmer Erin, who managed to complete this impressive makeover in just 58 minutes. You can watch her video here:

If you want to try this challenge yourself, here are the rules:

You have to use the same house as Simmer Erin, which is the "Not So Berry" house in Willow Creek. You can find it in the gallery by searching for "Not So Berry" or by using the hashtag #notsoberry.

You have to keep the original layout of the house, but you can change the wallpaper, flooring, windows, doors, furniture, decorations, etc. as long as they are mint green or match the color scheme.

You have to furnish the house for a family of four: two parents and two children (one boy and one girl). You can choose their ages, names, personalities, etc. as you wish.

You have to set a timer for 60 minutes and try to finish the renovation before the time runs out. You can pause the game if you need to take a break, but you can't cheat or use mods.

When you're done, take screenshots of your mint modern family home and share them on social media with the hashtag #mintmodernfamilyhome. You can also upload your house to the gallery for others to see and download.

Are you ready to take on this challenge Grab your mouse and keyboard and start renovating! Good luck and have fun!

If you're wondering how to achieve the mint green color scheme, here are some tips and tricks:

Use the color wheel tool in the build mode to find the perfect shade of mint green. You can also use the eyedropper tool to copy the color from an existing object.

Mix and match different shades of mint green to create contrast and depth. You can also use white, black, gray, or other neutral colors to balance out the mint green.

Add some pops of color to make your mint green stand out. You can use complementary colors like pink, purple, or orange, or analogous colors like blue, turquoise, or teal.

Use different textures and patterns to add interest and variety to your mint green decor. You can use wood, metal, glass, marble, brick, etc. for your furniture and walls, and use stripes, dots, geometric shapes, floral prints, etc. for your rugs, curtains, pillows, etc.

Don't forget to add some plants and flowers to your mint green home. They will add some freshness and natural beauty to your space. You can use real plants or fake ones, as long as they are green or match the color scheme.

With these tips and tricks, you can create a stunning mint modern family home that will impress your Sims and your friends. Have fun playing The Sims 4 and exploring your creativity! aa16f39245
