Back To Earth (Rave Mix)
Left in a world turned into a living horror, the Titans still refused to give up without a fight. With some help from Slade, (who had been betrayed by Trigon) Robin made his way to Trigon's underworld, found Raven and took her back to the surface, even though she was spiritually shattered by her role in the shaping of events. Finally, the Titans and Slade faced Trigon in a final onslaught. But even as they were struck down, Raven realized that all was not hopeless, and this realization sparked a new hope within her soul, allowing her to regain full maturity along with her powers. Under a righteous wrath, she used the sum of her powers to destroy Trigon, reverting Earth back to the way it was and finally ridding herself from the last vestiges of her dreaded heritage. Raven hugged Robin glad that he believed in her.
Raven is one of the most mysterious characters throughout the series. She is quiet, troubled, brooding, grim, moody, seemingly emotionless, intelligent, studious and sarcastic. She can always come up with a smart remark, specifically in reply to most of the Teen Titans' antics and attempts at humor. Her appearance and attitude appear to be that of a typical modern goth female. However, as much as she may seem slightly distant and anti-social, producer Sam Register describes her as a "...dark character, but a character everyone can relate to. She is a recluse and sort of to herself. We thought that would be a good dynamic with the rest of the team. She does have a dark background in the comic." Robin also said that she is "the most hopeful person [he has] ever known."
Raven and Beast Boy have a very complicated relationship, partly due to the two being polar opposites in terms of personality, though both of them have troubled childhoods. Raven is collected, down to earth and cold, while Beast Boy is cheerful, laid-back and energetic. Raven likes to read, while Beast Boy prefers playing video games. The two often fight and get on each other's nerves; Raven's cold demeanor and "creepiness" annoy Beast Boy, and she is often irritated by his bad jokes and immaturity.
Their friendship was especially prominent in Season 4. In "The End - Part 1", Robin vowed to defend Raven at all costs, and even after Raven surrendered to her destiny, Robin still refused to give up hope that she might change her mind. In "The End - Part 2", having believed Raven to have been destroyed, he chose to continue fighting in honor of his friend. After learning Raven could still be saved, he willingly traveled into a literal hell created by Trigon with Slade to bring her back. Even when Raven lost hope and believed all was lost, Robin was the one who gave her the courage to defeat Trigon.
When Cyborg's T-Car was stolen, she dismissed his dismay over the stolen vehicle by stating "It's just a car," which in turn made Cyborg exceptionally angry. While this happens off-screen, Raven does see the fault in her response and goes to comfort him when he gave up all hope of getting it back. She helps him get his car back from Gizmo, and though he was forced to destroy it, she goes as far as to help him rebuild the car, further proving their close friendship.Cyborg often sees Raven, like Starfire, as a younger sister to him, and as such is not very positive about any harm coming her way. During their first battle with Control Freak, a giant trash can appears to scare Raven, but Cyborg tackles it away, telling her not to worry as he has got it. This is not to say he is overprotective of her, or treats her as a "damsel in distress" as he knows Raven is more than capable of taking care of herself. The two appear to enjoy playing chess together, and as seen in "Overdrive", Raven usually seems to beat him. Though after installing the Max-7 in his brain, she loses to him and is rather shocked. Cyborg makes Raven smile more than anyone else in the series. Her biggest smiles, at least, two episodes centering around Cyborg's troubles.[
